About this event
Well at least give me four brakes, one for each wheel. The brakes on our cars save our lives every time we go for a drive. Brakes and the materials they are made of have changed and improved tremendously over the last 50 years and much of what has been learned can be applied to our cars.
The history of what we have used for brakes is almost humorous. The changes over the last 50+ years can help us be much safer, hitting a tree to stop is no longer required.
Are you someone who drives like a crazy man in your sports car? The materials that make that the safest are quite different from someone who drives your car like a sporting sedan. We'll look at what these differences are and how to make things the best possible for your driving style.
There are upgrades to virtually every component of brakes. Some are very inexpensive, some are reasonable and there are some that are really only for flat out touring and racing.
